Terms of service
The rules, in plain voice.
The short version: your voice stays yours, you only clone yourself, and plans work exactly the way the pricing page says. The long version follows.

The service
DubTwin is a voiceover studio built around your own voice: you record a short sample, we build a voice twin from it, and the twin reads the scripts you write. These terms are the agreement between you and DubTwin whenever you use the studio or this website.
Your account
- You need an account to use the studio, with accurate information and a real email we can reach you at.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account — keep your sign-in credentials to yourself.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use DubTwin.
Your voice and your content
You own what you bring and what you make: your recordings, your scripts, and the voiceovers your twin generates.
- You give us a limited license to store and process them — solely to run the service for you, exactly as described in the privacy policy.
- Your recordings are never used to train anything beyond your own twin, and only your account can generate audio with your twins.
The one big rule
Only clone your own voice. The recording you upload must be you — not a colleague, not a celebrity, not a family member, no matter how good the impression is. Recording someone else's voice into DubTwin is grounds for immediate termination.
Acceptable use
Beyond the one big rule, don't use DubTwin to:
- Deceive people — including presenting generated audio as a live human statement where that matters (impersonation, fraud, fake endorsements, or misleading news).
- Produce unlawful, harassing, or hateful content, or content that violates someone else's rights.
- Probe, overload, or work around the service's limits and security, or resell access to it.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules — voice-misuse violations are treated as the most serious kind.
Plans, billing, and voice minutes
- Free plan — 15 voice minutes a month, no payment method required. Minutes reset on the 1st of each month and don't roll over.
- Paid plans — billed monthly or yearly, renewing automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime; your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments — processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. The charge on your statement will show their name, and their checkout handles your card details and sales tax.
- Refunds — if a paid plan isn't for you, we'll refund your first payment in full within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Renewal payments can be refunded too if you contact us within 14 days of the charge.
- Voice minutes are measured on the audio your twin generates, with a live meter in the studio.
- If prices change, we'll tell you before a change affects what you pay.
Commercial use
Voiceovers generated on the Free plan are for personal use. Pro and Premium include a commercial use license for the voiceovers you generate while subscribed — your ads, courses, videos, and client work are covered.
Changes and availability
DubTwin evolves — features may be added, changed, or retired, and we can't promise the service will never have downtime. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll give you notice and time to export your data.
Termination
- You can stop using DubTwin and delete your account at any time from settings — your data is handled as the privacy policy describes.
- We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll warn you first; for voice misuse we may act immediately.
Disclaimers and liability
DubTwin is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For material changes we'll email you before they take effect — continuing to use DubTwin after that means you accept the new terms.
