Your voice, your data.

We collect only what the studio needs to work:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password, or your Google account details if you sign in with Google.
• Voice recordings — the short samples you record to create a voice twin, including the language you recorded in.
• Scripts and generated audio — the scripts you write, the voiceovers your twins generate from them, and their titles, moods, formats, and durations.
• Usage information — voice minutes generated, plan details, and the basic technical logs any web service keeps to stay reliable and secure.
• Payment details — collected by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, when you upgrade to a paid plan. The Free plan needs no payment method, and we never see your full card number.

Your data is used to run DubTwin, and for nothing else:

• To build your voice twin from your recording and generate the voiceovers you ask for.
• To meter your voice minutes and manage your plan.
• To send service emails you've opted into — like twin-ready notifications or usage recaps — and to answer you when you contact support.
• To keep the service secure and debug problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Voice data gets its own rules, because it’s the most personal thing you give us:

• Your recordings belong to you. Uploading a sample gives us permission to build and run your twin — nothing more.
• Your voice is never training data. Your recordings and generated audio are never used to train models, improve other voices, or build anything beyond your own twin.
• Only your account can speak with your voice. Twins are private to the account that recorded them. There is no public voice library and no sharing of twins between accounts.

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to exactly that:

• Voice synthesis — your recordings and scripts are processed by ElevenLabs to build your twin and generate audio.
• Authentication and storage — accounts and data are managed with Supabase.
• Payments — Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record and processes all subscription payments.
• Hosting and email — infrastructure providers that host the service and deliver our emails.

None of them may use your voice data for their own purposes.

Everything below is available in the studio's settings, today:

• Export your data — download everything we hold about you as a JSON file.
• Delete your voice data — remove your recordings, twins, and generated audio without closing your account.
• Delete your account — removes your account and all data with it.
• Email preferences — every optional email has an off switch in settings.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Delete a twin, a voiceover, your voice data, or your whole account, and the corresponding data is removed from the service. Limited backup copies and records we're legally required to keep may persist for a short period before they're purged.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what each system needs, and voice data is treated as sensitive throughout. No service can promise perfect security — if we ever learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you promptly.

DubTwin isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top. For material changes — anything that affects your voice data — we'll email you before the change takes effect.
